About the Company: Our client is a prominent contractor in the Construction and Civil Engineering sector, renowned for executing large-scale projects specializing in Steelwork, Cladding, Groundworks, Steel Frame, and Reinforced Concrete Frame.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and document the delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and quantity standards.
  • Monitor and record the attendance and timekeeping of subcontractors and workers.
  • Develop Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and Inspection Test Plans, managing their implementation while keeping clients informed.
  • Engage with clients and report on progress, quality, environmental, and health and safety issues, while collaborating with professionals such as main contractors, architects, engineers, and surveyors.
  • Participate in internal and site meetings, maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Understand and adhere to project timelines, with the ability to create short-term site-based schedules.
  • Supervise subcontractors and general labor to ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Organize and contribute to subcontractor meetings, whether pre-start or progress-related.
  • Conduct formal safety inspections to uphold the highest standards of construction and site safety.
  • Prepare and maintain site reports, inspections, and test plans, ensuring they are current.
  • Implement quality control procedures effectively.
  • Utilize and uphold all company systems, procedures, forms, templates, and policies.
  • Inform your line manager and commercial team of any changes, delays, or requests for additional work or modifications.
  • Complete all site health and safety, quality, and environmental inspections along with job-related documentation.
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • CSCS Managers card
  • First aid training
  • Full UK Driving license and own transport
