Operations Trainee

Craftsman Collision is a leading auto body repair chain in Canada, committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. We're seeking a skilled Operations Trainee to support our Metro Vancouver operations manager and contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and support daily operations to ensure stakeholder objectives are met.
- Support management of shop operations in alignment with The Craftsman Way (TCW).
- Provide vacation coverage as required and utilize company dashboard to accurately identify and prioritize tasks.
- Actively participate in daily production meetings and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Write estimates and schedules repairs as required, and utilize Craftsman Management System to enter parts and sublet invoices.
- Support daily production, work flow, and quality control of the shop, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Proactively take steps to reduce effort and increase touch time, and bring forward suggestions for training needs and process improvements.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Working towards I-CAR Platinum certification an asset.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers.
- Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms, with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
- Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development.
- Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
- Knowledge and proficiency in ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies an asset.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
