Job Title: Chief Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Buyer to join our team at 2534836 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our procurement department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Management: Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays and customer satisfaction.
  • Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to outlets and maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Procurement Planning: Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

  • Accurate: Ability to accurately manage inventory and track orders.
  • Client Focus: Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the procurement team to achieve goals.
