About the Role

Aerotex Interiors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Chief Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management
    • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
    • Maintain adequate stock levels to meet the requirements of the establishment.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
  • Inventory Management
    • Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
    • Select and purchase merchandise for resale.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise the work of other buyers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and detail-oriented.
    • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
    • Judgement and decision-making skills.
    • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Team player with excellent communication skills.
