About the Role

Aerotex Interiors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Chief Procurement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring adequate stock levels, and negotiating prices and credit terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
    • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Inventory Management
    • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
    • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Contract Negotiation and Administration
    • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers
    • Administer contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor procurement team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
