We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Buyer to join our team at 2534836 Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our procurement department.
Key Responsibilities- Product Management: Arrange and maintain product displays according to our established planogram to ensure optimal visual merchandising and customer engagement.
- Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements that benefit our business.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Procurement Planning: Review our business requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring alignment with our sales and marketing strategies.
- Merchandise Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and brand reputation.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of our procurement strategies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
