About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Dollar Haven & Discount. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision

Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.

Inventory Management

Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that inventory is accurately recorded.

Sales and Customer Service

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction, ensuring that our customers receive a positive shopping experience.

Store Operations

Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Reporting and Analysis

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and staff performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve store operations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail management role

Skills

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Physical Demands

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting

Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The primary language of work is English.
