Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Circle K. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that the store is visually appealing.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies, providing excellent customer service, and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify and address any discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent stock losses.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, customer service, and store operations, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
  • Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, and provide assistance with foreign credential recognition.
