About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Island Burgers Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including professionalism in customer service and maintaining a positive attitude towards customers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience is essential.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or fast food outlet/concession experience is required.
