- Introduce innovative cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Oversee the activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
- Develop and create new recipes.
- Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes for events.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient operations.
- Regularly prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Coordinate equipment purchases and repairs.
- Plan menus to meet quality standards.
