About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at American Logistics and Trucking. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of logistics staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the coordination of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and a team player.
