Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service at all times.

Reporting and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.

Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, and may be required to lift heavy objects or work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.

Language

English.
