Join our team at Williams Lake Seniors Village as a Dietitian, responsible for the nutritional management of residents through quality meal service and adherence to clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement nutrition care plans for residents, adhering to Ministry of Health regulations and legislation.
- Review and revise nutrition care plans as needed, ensuring implementation and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and community services to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure meal and snack services meet Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating standards and resident preferences.
- Establish policies and procedures for resident meal service and nutritional care.
- Conduct audits and maintain accurate records for menus, audits, and education.
- Participate in staff education on nutrition, mealtime management, and food safety.
- Member in good standing with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition and completion of an accredited internship program.
- Recent clinical experience in geriatric nutrition is an asset.
- Pass the vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal clinical skills.
- Knowledge of clinical nutrition principles for the geriatric population.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a global perspective.
