Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Executive Director to join our team at JD Trans Inc. as a key member of our leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our logistics and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of logistics and supply chain operations, including the allocation of resources, management of budgets, and coordination of cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of logistics and supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the success of the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the efficient and effective operation of logistics and supply chain functions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior logistics or supply chain role, with a proven track record of success in strategic planning, operational management, and leadership.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Travel: The role will require occasional travel, both domestically and internationally, to meet with stakeholders and attend industry events.
