Project Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading marine services provider based in Southampton. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project activities, including proposal preparation, project schedules, and engineering work coordination.
  • Ensure projects are managed in accordance with quality management systems, group policies, and industry standards.
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Maintain project schedules by monitoring project progress, verifying and checking project deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification/degree/HND in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
  • Recognized Project Management qualification (desirable).
  • Computer literate with knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Professional, including MS Project, and bespoke design software such as AutoCAD, Mathcad, FEA.
