Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paving Project Supervisor to oversee our construction projects at Poschner Construction (88) Ltd. This role involves managing various aspects of paving operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.

Work Details

  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related field or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The work site is characterized by:

  • Dangerous conditions

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and scheduling project activities
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Establishing effective methods to meet work schedules
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
  • Supervising workers and overseeing project execution
  • Providing training or arranging for necessary training
Supervision

You will supervise a team of:

  • 5-10 individuals, including heavy equipment operators (excluding crane operators) and laborers
Qualifications

Required certifications include:

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • First Aid Certificate
Industry Experience

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

  • Construction

Transportation Requirements

A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
