Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Representative to join our team at Acosta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and merchandising coverage to our clients in assigned retail territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales results against quotas across all clients in assigned territories, meeting or exceeding established sales targets.
  • Ensure 100% coverage of assigned retail territory according to client frequency plans, maintaining accurate records and reporting daily.
  • Assist supervisors on retail initiatives, including new product introductions, contests, and other promotional activities.
  • Effectively communicate client information to store personnel, ensuring seamless execution of sales and merchandising objectives.
  • Maintain full distribution and display of products in assigned accounts, adhering to approved plan-o-grams and ensuring optimal product placement.
  • Rotate stock, clean and stock display, and price merchandise as necessary, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked store environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including checking date codes, ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-grams, and reporting observations to Unit Manager regarding outdated product, unbalanced stock, out-of-stock situations, and point of purchase requirements.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent in industry name required.
  • Prior retail experience, including Retail Sales, preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, have a valid driver's license, and be able to drive a car for extended periods.
  • Must be available for overnight travel, occasional weekend work, and flexible to work nights and holidays.
  • Must have good vision, be able to operate a calculator, fax machine, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, screwdriver, and utility knife.
