About the Role

The Product Engineering division is responsible for developing features from inception to deployment. This includes designing data architectures and implementing intricate interaction behaviors that elevate software quality. Collaboration with UI designers and support from the infrastructure team is essential. Our goal is to enhance user satisfaction through both significant new features and ongoing product improvements, facilitated by our continuous deployment framework.

As a compassionate and product-oriented Engineering Manager, you will oversee the Login & Signup (LNS) team. This team is dedicated to managing user registration and authentication processes, focusing on secure login solutions for enterprise clients, including single sign-on capabilities through various Identity Providers and multi-factor authentication. You will be part of a full-stack team that utilizes a technology stack comprising TypeScript/React and Scala. The LNS team is committed to developing a premier registration and authentication system that adheres to the latest security protocols and regulations, integrates smoothly with leading identity management frameworks, and delivers an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster the development and growth of skilled engineers within the Login & Signup team.
  • Lead the formulation and execution of the team's strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Prepare the team to successfully tackle several technically demanding and vital projects.
  • Mentor engineers in both their technical skills and professional growth.
  • Guarantee a dependable and positive experience for users globally while maintaining a swift pace of development and iteration.
  • Collaborate and learn alongside accomplished peer managers who share a strong sense of teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing a technical team and advocating for necessary technical investments.
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with Design and Product teams on both major new features and incremental product enhancements.
  • Dedicated to maximizing impact for yourself, your team, and the organization as a whole.
  • Possess the intelligence, empathy, integrity, and technical expertise needed to earn the trust of a technically proficient team.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity; you enjoy identifying what needs to be accomplished and executing it effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package that reflects the value you bring to our mission. We believe compensation should be aligned with market value, which is why we conduct annual pay equity audits.

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $202,000 and $302,000, with actual salaries varying based on market conditions and individual qualifications assessed during the interview process. This range serves as a guideline and may be adjusted.
