Position Overview: Veterinary Client Care Specialist
Location: Lake Country, BC
VCA Canada is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Veterinary Client Care Specialist. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our facility, ensuring that both clients and their pets receive exceptional service and attention.
Your primary duties will include:
- Creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere for clients and their pets.
- Managing a multi-line phone system to effectively schedule and track appointments.
- Conducting follow-up calls to clients regarding appointments and care.
- Handling email communications with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal messages.
- Assisting with the admission and discharge processes for pet patients.
- Processing invoices and payments, including providing estimates and explaining fees.
- Coordinating appointment schedules.
- Exhibiting outstanding customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all.
- Demonstrating strong organizational abilities.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the reception area and other common spaces.
- Willingness to expand knowledge about veterinary services and assist staff with various tasks.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and location.
