About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DataOps Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a DataOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our Data Engineering, Data Science, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration across our systems.
  • Design and Implement Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines to support our business needs, leveraging technologies such as Terraform, GitLab, SQL, and Python.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Develop and implement data quality checks, data validation, and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Data Systems: Monitor data system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum data availability.
  • Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data systems, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our data infrastructure remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • 7+ Years of Experience in DataOps or DevOps: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure and systems.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in Terraform, GitLab, SQL, Python, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, DBT, and Linux.
  • Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex data system issues.
