Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Sbhfashion. As a key partner for our showroom and retail personnel across Canada, you will provide expertise, coaching, and advice in employee relations and policy implementation. Your responsibilities will also include general HR functions and full payroll processing, including quarterly and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective partnerships with leaders and employees to drive talent acquisition, talent management, and employee engagement.
  2. Partner with hiring managers to attract and hire candidates who meet the needs of the business.
  3. Ensure compliance with Canadian labor regulations and stay up-to-date with market trends.
  4. Manage employee personnel files electronically and support offboarding processes.
  5. Provide guidance on employment matters and transmit payroll electronically in a timely manner.
  6. Assist with year-end payroll processes and administer benefit enrollments, LOA, and COBRA.
  7. Implement and initiate benefit-related employee communications and meetings.
  8. Organize annual employee performance reviews and perform other related HR duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist/Business Partner or relevant role.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Canadian payroll processing.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business required.
  4. Knowledgeable in Canadian employment-related laws and regulations.
  5. Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office Suite, and working knowledge of Workday and ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  6. Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  7. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and discretion.
  8. Calm under pressure with a commonsense approach and flexibility.
  9. Effective communicator with clear business writing skills.
