Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Specialist to join our team at Ortec Finance. As a Senior Business Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our clients in the pension industry.

About the Role

  • Lead ALM studies and oversee project team members;
  • Cultivate long-term client relationships and serve as an account manager for existing clients;
  • Engage in high-level discussions with pension funds and guide complex processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on ALM, investment advice, and risk monitoring for large and small pension funds;
  • Contribute to working group meetings, board presentations, and provide training to clients on Financial Risk Management;
  • Work on a variety of activities within Financial Risk Management, including advising on ALM, investment advice, and risk monitoring.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills and ability to efficiently guide colleagues in your project;
  • Customer-oriented with the drive to answer client needs in the best way possible;
  • Ability to navigate transition processes amid the complexity of different stakeholders in a pension fund;
  • Conceptual thinking, analytical skills, and communication skills are essential;
  • University degree in a related field such as econometrics, economics, or finance;
  • 5-10 years of experience as an advisor, actuary, or account manager in the pension industry;
  • Fluent in Dutch, both spoken and written.
