Position Overview

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Guest Services team while performing the duties of a Guest Services Agent. This role is essential in maintaining efficient front desk operations and ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and visitors in the lobby, gather their information, and assist in room selection based on their preferences.
  • Deliver exceptional, courteous, and timely service that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Train and mentor new team members, providing continuous feedback for improvement.
  • Foster a positive and motivating team atmosphere, ensuring adherence to hotel standards.
  • Quickly address guest issues by collaborating with Housekeeping and service staff to find solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, addressing issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Work closely with management to ensure seamless front office operations, troubleshooting problems as they arise.
  • Coordinate special requests and VIP accommodations, ensuring all departments are informed.
  • Perform Guest Services Agent duties and other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel front desk operations.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Opera is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a passion for team development.
