About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our team at Sonepar Canada, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing and controlling the branch location, ensuring departments are working effectively towards common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance, direction, and monitoring of internal staff, ensuring departments are working effectively towards common goals.
- Sales Growth: Grow sales through developing, coaching, and motivating sales and support teams.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels at optimum.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained as per the required Branch Operational Scorecard level.
- Strategic Planning: Participate in and/or recommend product training, and assist with Warehouse and physical plant planning.
- Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Business Development: Determine sales projections for fiscal year and track progress.
- Team Management: Manage the Inside Sales staff, and resolve day-to-day personnel issues where management decisions are required.
- Community Representation: Represent the Company to the local and industry community.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma required, College/University Diploma preferred (Business, Sales & Marketing, or Technical focus).
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of related experience, preferably in a Sales/Distribution environment, with previous Management experience.
- Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
