About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Educator to join our team at Le Jougardi Inc. as a key member of our childcare centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Storytelling and Education: Engage children in interactive storytelling, teach songs, and lead activities that foster creativity and imagination.
  • Support and Guidance: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs, provide guidance on proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and support children in developing essential life skills.
  • Record Keeping and Communication: Maintain accurate records of children's progress, prepare reports for parents and guardians, and participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all necessary regulations and guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Clearances: Possess current Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification, basic security clearance, and a clean Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in childcare or a related field.
