Job Title: General Duty Radiology Technologist

At Shared Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Duty Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Job Summary

The General Duty Radiology Technologist will work under the general supervision of the Charge Medical Technologist or designate, performing assigned diagnostic duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to quality assurance standards and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Active registration with CAMRT and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and oral) may be required.
