Position Overview
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Shared Health, you will perform assigned Diagnostic duties in accordance with your scope of training and experience. You will provide direct patient/resident care and technical, administrative, and operational support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery.
Experience
- Previous related experience is preferred.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- You must be a graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
Qualifications and Skills
- You must be able to work in a Windows computer environment.
- Microsoft Office programs are preferred.
- You must be able to follow oral and written instructions precisely with attention to detail.
- You must have effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- You must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
- You must have organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- You must be proficient in analytical skills.
- You must be able to work under pressure.
- You must maintain confidentiality with all information entrusted to the position.
- Fluent language skills in both French and English may be required.
