About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Canadian Western Bank. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving regional sales efforts and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support regional sales and performance goals, including profitable loan growth, new client acquisition, and internal business referrals.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen partner relationships by fostering trust and delivering a world-class client experience.
  • Drive business development activities through targeted prospecting and calling programs to expand the addressable market and close new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value-added services that support loan growth, client acquisition, and product expansion.
  • Actively represent CWB Equipment Finance in the marketplace and develop franchised client relationships through partnerships with specialist teams.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools for performance planning, forecasting, and optimizing the sales process, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business goals.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of financial services sales experience and demonstrated capabilities in business development and relationship management.
  • Strong business development focus, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and entrepreneurial flair.
  • Proven analytical and risk management skills, with the ability to thrive within a complex and diverse organizational environment.
  • Results-oriented, collaborative, and respectful of the capabilities and contributions of all CWB team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive under pressure, with a positive attitude and curiosity that constantly seeks new opportunities.
