About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at AAYUR REHAB PHYSIOTHERAPY INC. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities to identify areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement treatment programs to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the guidance of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists
  • Equipment and Supply Management
    • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment
  • Documentation and Communication
    • Document patient rehabilitation progress to track progress and identify areas for improvement
    • Communicate effectively with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure timely and efficient patient care
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Completion of a relevant education program (e.g. college/CEGEP)
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent client focus and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
    • Organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
