About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at UPCHAR PHYSIOTHERAPY INC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care, including setting up and dismantling equipment, preparing and maintaining supplies, and positioning patients for treatments.
  • Confer with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment plans.
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs, including removing casts, sutures, and pins, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Punctuality, client focus, and organized with a team player attitude.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
