About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Enterprise Information Security to lead our information security program and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems, assets, and data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise information security program, including risk management, security operations, and compliance.
- Lead the security team to achieve tactical and strategic goals, including the establishment of an information security governance structure and the development of a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
- Work effectively with business units to facilitate information security risk assessments and risk management processes, empower teams to understand, own, and determine the appropriate level of risk for their unit.
- Develop, socialize, and coordinate approval and implementation of security policies, report on progress to internal stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Liaise with vendor management function to ensure that information security requirements are included in contracts.
- Build and nurture external networks consisting of industry peers, ecosystem partners, vendors, and other relevant parties to address common trends, findings, incidents, and cybersecurity risks.
- Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.
Requirements
- At least 8 years' experience in information security, with a strong background in technology and risk management.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior management role, with proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of security professionals.
- Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
- Degree in business administration or a technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), or other similar credentials.
