What are our expectations?

Nightwing is seeking a skilled Production Operations Coordinator to enhance our manufacturing capabilities. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing the production workflow by establishing and refining the assembly and testing sequences. A strong understanding of manufacturing execution systems is essential.

As a Production Operations Coordinator, you will be expected to tackle diverse and intricate tasks with minimal oversight, applying your expertise to achieve set objectives. You will interpret complex technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and maintaining production schedules.
  • Defining the necessary processes, tools, and equipment for module and engine assembly in line with our engineering and quality standards.
  • Participating in integrated product teams to ensure production readiness and implement changes effectively.
  • Addressing engineering modifications and flagging potential issues.
  • Developing Time Allocation and Task Plans, Resource Efficiency Indicators, and Business Status Reports.
  • Supporting production teams in enhancing assembly processes and ensuring readiness.
  • Contributing to quality assurance initiatives and key performance metrics.
  • Assisting in the training and supervision of team members.

Essential qualifications for success:

  • A college degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (preferably eCates).
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
  • Experience in a unionized work environment.

Field of studies:

  • Aeronautics, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Techniques, Mechanics Techniques.
