Job Overview:

As a senior consultant with a focus on the XSOAR platform, this position encompasses all the duties of a Professional Services Consultant while advancing into more complex and strategic areas. Senior consultants engage in highly tailored projects, demonstrate increased autonomy, and play a key role in developing and designing service offerings centered around the XSOAR platform. Their comprehensive expertise in scripting, APIs, security use cases, and system administration, combined with their innovative problem-solving abilities, will be crucial in driving client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage intricate deployment projects involving the XSOAR platform.
  • Work closely with clients to identify their specific security challenges and create tailored playbooks and automation workflows to meet their needs.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for XSOAR, offering guidance and thought leadership to both clients and internal teams.
  • Independently diagnose technical issues, pinpoint root causes, and devise creative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Contribute to the creation of service offerings related to XSOAR, including methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of SIEM and SOAR practices to evaluate customer requirements, provide customized recommendations, and assist in developing effective security strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analyst alert handling through automation.
  • Generate technical documentation that outlines the SIEM and SOAR components of the engagement.
  • Adhere to the company's policies and procedures throughout all engagements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience in deploying and integrating SIEM and SOAR solutions within enterprise-level environments.
  • Extensive experience in deploying and managing XSOAR, with a thorough understanding of its architecture, components, and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for developing advanced custom integrations, automations, and playbooks.
  • Advanced knowledge of APIs and the capability to integrate XSOAR with various security tools and infrastructure components.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
  • Expertise in incident response processes, including triage, investigation, and remediation.
  • Clear understanding of the MITRE framework and its operationalization across multiple functions.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing complex security use cases to streamline security operations.
  • Strong grasp of security concepts, frameworks, and compliance standards, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with a variety of SIEM and SOAR technologies, such as Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, and Demisto.
  • Proven experience in delivering consultative services to end customers in the cybersecurity domain, particularly in SIEM/SOAR and SOC areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements, analyze complex security environments, and provide strategic recommendations that align with their objectives.
  • Understanding of Security Analysis & Response across endpoint, network, and cloud-based environments is advantageous.
  • Proficient in interpreting and creating technical design documentation.
  • Extensive experience with Security Operations Centers (SOC) tools and processes.
  • Industry-recognized qualifications (CISSP, GIAC, SIEM/SOAR Vendor Qualification, etc.) are a plus.
