Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at the Canadian Recruitment Group. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fast-paced food service environment, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports
    • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced food service environment and will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods and attention to detail are essential for this role.
