Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at King Hopkins Pet Hospital. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team and ensuring that our organization's HR policies and procedures are aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Coordinate the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Administer and maintain our benefits and compensation programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and support career development and growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that our organization is in compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a healthcare or pet-related industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external partners.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws, including employment standards, labor relations, and benefits administration.
