Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Experience with financial software and systems.
