Informatics Specialist, Bilingual FR/EN (Remote)

Position Overview

  • Leverage expertise in IT middleware and infrastructure to facilitate the deployment and configuration of middleware solutions.
  • Serve as a vital contributor in delivering knowledge transfer and technical training to ensure effective implementation and utilization of product technologies.
  • Implement the Informatics strategy to enhance connectivity between technologies and Healthcare Information Systems.
  • Lead discussions on technical IT networks to align requirements and resources for successful project execution.
  • Encourage the adoption of Remote Support systems among Sales, Application teams, and clients.
  • Conduct remote investigations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and support for technical issues faced by customers.
  • Perform site acceptance testing and provide on-site assistance during operational launches.
  • Contribute to the progress of middleware platform development and deployment within the region.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with safety standards.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related technical field is required.
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist certification is mandatory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, speaking) is essential.
  • Experience in supporting middleware solutions within hospital or laboratory IT environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server installations, SQL queries, LIS system connectivity, Remote Systems Management, IIS, and web-based applications is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of microbiology laboratory processes and techniques is considered an asset.
  • A self-motivated individual with demonstrated project management capabilities and a customer-focused approach is desired.
