Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

SCIREQ is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our product development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software suite for our expanding line of scientific apparatus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and test software releases following pre-defined test strategies and ad-hoc testing
  • Develop, implement, and manage testing strategies and test protocols
  • Develop, implement, and manage automated testing
  • Reproduce and document software bugs and issues found by clients or through internal testing
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure bugs and issues are addressed
  • Document software features, including internal and end-user documentation
  • Provide limited technical support related to software features

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (software, computer, biomedical, etc.) or similar work experience
  • Excellent computer knowledge (hardware and software)
  • English language skills (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quality assurance and testing experience
  • Familiarity with the Agile development process
  • Object-oriented software development experience
  • French language skills (written and spoken)
