**About SCIREQ**

SCIREQ is a world-renowned leader in the design and manufacturing of precision laboratory equipment for preclinical respiratory research. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our product development team as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Validate and Test Software Releases**: Ensure the quality of our software suite by validating and testing software releases following pre-defined test strategies and ad-hoc testing.
  • **Develop and Implement Testing Strategies**: Develop, implement, and manage testing strategies and test protocols to ensure the highest quality of our software.
  • **Automated Testing**: Develop, implement, and manage automated testing to streamline our testing process.
  • **Bug Reproduction and Documentation**: Reproduce and document software bugs and issues found by clients or through internal testing.
  • **Collaboration with Software Developers**: Collaborate with software developers to ensure bugs and issues are addressed.
  • **Documentation**: Document software features, including both internal and end-user documentation.
  • **Technical Support**: Provide limited amounts of second or third-level technical support as it relates to software features.

Requirements
  • **Bachelor's Degree**: Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (software, computer, biomedical, etc.) or similar work experience.
  • **Computer Knowledge**: Possess excellent computer knowledge (hardware and software).
  • **Attention to Detail**: Be detail-oriented and organized with a keen eye for quality.
  • **Initiative**: Demonstrate a curious and proactive approach to work.
  • **Teamwork**: Ability to work efficiently, both independently and in a team.
  • **Language Skills**: Possess English language skills (written and spoken).
Assets
  • **Quality Assurance Experience**: Previous experience in quality assurance and testing.
  • **Agile Development**: Familiarity with the Agile development process.
  • **Object-Oriented Development**: Experience with object-oriented software development.
  • **Respiratory Mechanics**: Knowledge of respiratory mechanics.
  • **Subversion**: Knowledge of subversion.
  • **French Language Skills**: French language skills (written and spoken).
