Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Food Requisition and Inventory: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Culinary Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers, including those with food allergies or intolerances.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and achieve our culinary goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Work Language: English language proficiency is required.
- Hours: 30 hours per week, with a focus on providing flexible scheduling to meet the needs of our customers and kitchen operations.
