Project Coordinator Job Description

At BGIS, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the delivery of project sub-components and non-technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of projects through effective coordination and delivery of assigned sub-components within overall projects.
  • Deliver non-technical projects, including researching and liaising with vendors to obtain quotes and providing recommendations on preferred vendors.
  • Develop cost estimates for assigned non-technical projects and determine resource requirements.
  • Develop schedules and monitor progress against timelines, ensuring assigned project sub-components and non-technical projects are delivered on-time, within scope, budget, and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, monitoring work progress to ensure completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, accountable for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Project Administration:
  • May perform project administration duties, including coordinating vendor work and ensuring work completion.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of project administration work experience or administrative work experience with a Community college diploma or equivalent training.
  • Administrative, coordination, and organizational skills, along with related administrative and coordination work experience.
  • Project coordination abilities, including proven experience in coordinating the end-to-end delivery of project sub-components.
  • Non-technical project delivery, including proven ability to deliver non-technical projects.
  • Cost estimation, including proven ability and experience in preparing cost estimates.
  • Project scheduling, including proven ability and experience in creating project schedules and determining resource requirements.
  • Vendor coordination, including proven ability and experience in coordinating vendor work and ensuring work completion.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including proficiency in and experience with MS Office suite of applications.
