Job Summary:The Managing Supervisor will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating daily operations, and planning and organizing daily operations. This role will also involve managing staff and assigning duties, studying market research and trends to determine consumer demand, and determining merchandise and services to be sold.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives.
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and potential sales volumes.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold based on market research and trends.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote sales and increase revenue.
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- 5 years or more of experience in a retail or wholesale establishment setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
