We are currently looking for skilled individuals to fill the role of Loader/Floater at our Delta location. This is a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load vehicles ranging from small customer pickups to full B-train trailers.
  • Unload trucks containing coils, sheets, and site supplies.
  • Unload rail cars and shipping containers.
  • Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse and yard.
  • Organize and categorize materials for efficient loading and space utilization.
  • Utilize an RF scanner to track loads.
  • Review documentation to ensure load accuracy.
  • Verify loads for correctness.
  • Wrap trucks in poly material.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of forklift operation experience.
  • Possession of a valid forklift certification.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Crane operation experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in steel handling is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Capability to read orders and complete basic documentation.
