Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Transco Freightways Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Operate a variety of equipment to move materials and products, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Weigh materials and goods to ensure accurate inventory
  • Make labels and attach them to goods
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Pack and unpack goods, and store them in a safe and organized manner
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods to ensure efficient storage and transportation
  • Organize and maintain inventory using computerized inventory control systems
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Work Environment

Our Material Handler will work in a trucking company setting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products and materials.
