Job Title: Material Handler

Thunderbal Distributors Ltd is seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Moving products and materials within the warehouse using manual or powered equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Picking orders and stocking shelves
  • Weighing materials and goods
  • Making labels and attaching them to goods
  • Wrapping goods
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
Work Environment:

The Material Handler will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work in a dusty and noisy environment.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
  • Reliable and punctual with good time management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Client-focused and organized with a strong attention to detail
