Strategic Implementation Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects for the Government of Alberta.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement alternative financing and project delivery programs, including Public-Private Partnerships (P3s), to support the government's infrastructure goals.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and school jurisdictions to ensure compliance with legal, financial, and operational standards, and provide expert advice on project-related matters.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to resolve project-related issues and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Review and provide recommendations on Unsolicited Capital Proposals, ensuring alignment with government policies and objectives.
- Develop and lead high-performing teams through direction, mentoring, and skill development, and ensure the effective management of project resources.
- Monitor outcomes and ensure the scope and quality of deliverables provide value to clients and stakeholders, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Provide consultation and recommendations on Sector programs, including business planning and reporting activities, to support the government's strategic objectives.
- Represent the organization on Ministry, Government, and external working groups and committees, promoting the government's interests and advancing its goals.
