Reporting to the PMO manager, the Infrastructure and Security Program Manager is tasked with establishing and upholding project management standards throughout the lifecycle of all initiatives within IT and the organization. The Program Manager defines and maintains processes and guiding principles that ensure successful project delivery aligned with the company's priorities and objectives. As a vital member of the PMO team, the Program Manager adds value throughout each project's lifecycle.
Infrastructure and security systems encompass advanced on-site data centers, branches, cloud-based (Azure) solutions, and SaaS solutions interconnected across a vast network, multiple headquarters, and distribution centers. The IT Project Manager for Infrastructure and Security will oversee various projects related to the long-term security program execution as well as diverse infrastructure and technology enhancement initiatives.
This role necessitates proven prior experience in managing infrastructure and/or security projects, along with the capability to manage multiple workflows and complex projects.
A technical background is essential.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Manage relationships with the business and third parties throughout the project duration, acting as the primary point of contact between them and IT;
- Facilitate PMO workflow and SDLC adoption;
- Create and maintain project management documentation;
- Monitor and control project progress;
- Manage resources and budget effectively;
- Perform other tasks as required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
- Proficient in both written and spoken French and English;
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Project;
- Demonstrated experience successfully executing projects in infrastructure and/or security;
- Experience in managing long-term strategic programs for infrastructure and/or security;
- Familiarity with PMO best practices;
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment;
- Strong critical thinking, listening skills, and clear communication abilities;
- Positive and collaborative attitude with a strong sense of judgment on balancing patience with urgency;
- Advocate for balancing autonomy, delegation, and communication;
- Ability to manage multiple priority threads and good judgment on where focus is needed;
- Must understand priorities and base actions on short and long-term business needs;
- While autonomy is important, progress reports and dashboards will be regularly reviewed.
