Position Overview

As a Heating and Air Conditioning Mechanic Helper at JM MECHANICAL CORP., you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled technicians in various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field
Work Environment

This position involves working in diverse settings, including:

  • Outdoor locations
  • At heights
  • Potentially hazardous environments
  • Noisy and dusty conditions
  • Temperature extremes (cold and hot)
  • Underground work
Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting tradespersons and apprentices as directed
  • Transporting tools, equipment, and materials
  • Holding stakes during surveying tasks
  • Cleaning machinery and work areas
  • Communicating safety procedures to colleagues and the public
