Key Responsibilities- Workforce Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize work schedules.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of team members engaged in food preparation and portioning.
- Training: Instruct staff on their responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Resource Estimation: Assess and determine the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Order Preparation: Compile food order summaries for the kitchen staff.
- Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the assembly of food trays.
- Delivery Coordination: Oversee and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
- Schedule Establishment: Create and manage work schedules for the team.
- Education: Completion of College or CEGEP.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a similar role.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
- Work Hours: Availability for 30 to 35 hours per week.
