Job Summary

At EssilorLuxottica, we're passionate about bringing people better sight. As a Licensed Optician, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers receive the best possible eyewear experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage with all customers, setting clear expectations and providing personalized service.
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses, demonstrating expertise in optical acumen.
  • Act as a leader in optical knowledge, assisting team members with complex product needs and prescriptions.
  • Accurately take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
  • Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities, striving to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • State Licensure.
  • Optical dispensing experience.
  • Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Awareness of current fashion trends.
  • Selling skills, including the ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
  • Embracing new technology and change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service and retail experience.
